Excavating Eversholt, 2016

This project, a response to the Unit 11 'Back to the Future' brief, was concerned with recording the objects, fixtures and fittings which are currently overlooked as common components within the urban environment. They are worthless, but could one day be objects of research, imbued with the evidence of our everyday existence. After forensically studying the street surfaces, signage and road markings on Eversholt Street, near Euston Station, I used individual details of my drawings to create  anatomical models. These objects would act as archaeological cross sections through the accumulated components of the street.
